This Payment Policy is issued by Primeup LTD, trading as Kemet Cotton (Company No. 13470870, registered in England and Wales), the merchant of record for all orders placed on kemetcotton.com. Our registered address is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Payment method availability depends on your region, device, and browser. Alternative payment methods may be added or removed from time to time.
Prices can be displayed in multiple currencies for convenience, based on the currency selector at the top of the site or on the currency detected for your region. Unless stated otherwise, the final charge is processed in the currency shown on the checkout summary before you confirm payment. Any currency conversion applied by your card issuer or wallet provider is outside our control and may include a conversion fee.
Payment is captured when you submit your order. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you and issue a full refund for the affected item. For pre-orders or back-orders, the timing of charge is disclosed at checkout.
Your card or bank statement will show a descriptor identifying Kemet Cotton (for example, “KEMET COTTON” or “KEMETCOTTON.COM”). If you see an unfamiliar descriptor that you believe relates to a Kemet Cotton order, contact us at support@kemetcotton.com before disputing the charge with your bank so we can quickly reconcile it with your order.
Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. 3D Secure (SCA) authentication is used where required by your card issuer or by EU / UK regulation.
We use Stripe Radar and additional risk signals to prevent fraudulent transactions. Orders that appear high risk may be held for manual review or cancelled with a full refund. If your order is declined by our or your bank’s fraud systems, contact your card issuer first or reach out to our support team for help.
Prices shown at checkout include any applicable VAT for UK and EU destinations where required. For non-UK / non-EU destinations, your country may apply import duties, customs fees, or local sales tax collected on delivery — these are the responsibility of the recipient. Refunds for returned items are issued to the original payment method; please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear after we receive your return. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before opening a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly and faster.
