Woven from extra-long-staple cotton grown in Egypt's Nile Delta the same fibre behind the world's finest hotel towels. Choose 600 GSM for everyday luxury or 800 GSM for maximum plushness. Every towel ships free and gets softer wash after wash.
Egyptian cotton is prized for its extra-long staple fibres up to 2 inches that produce smoother, stronger, and more absorbent yarns than standard cotton. Grown exclusively in the Nile Delta, our towels use this premium raw material in two weights: Signature 600 GSM for a balanced, quick-drying towel and Reserve 800 GSM (100% cotton) for the densest, most luxurious weave available. Both are OEKO-TEX certified, free from harmful chemicals, and designed to last for years without pilling or thinning.
Everyday luxury. Quick-drying. Gets softer with every wash.
Our densest weave. Maximum absorption. Hotel-grade luxury.
Egyptian cotton is grown in the Nile Delta and produces extra-long staple (ELS) fibers - typically twice the length of standard cotton. These longer fibers create finer yarn with fewer fiber ends, which translates directly into softer fabric, higher absorbency, less pilling, and a significantly longer lifespan. Quality Egyptian cotton towels last 10 years or more with proper care.
Kemet Cotton offers two weights: 600 GSM (Signature Series) for everyday hotel-quality luxury, and 800 GSM (Reserve Collection) for spa-weight indulgence. The Reserve Collection is woven from 100% cotton. The Signature Series uses long-staple Nile Delta cotton - not blends, not short-staple cotton.
Care tip: Never use fabric softener on Egyptian cotton. It coats the fibers and reduces absorbency over time. These towels get naturally softer with each wash. For the full care guide, see: How to Wash Egyptian Cotton Towels.
