Most "1000 thread count" pillowcases are marketing math, multi-ply yarns counted twice or three times. Ours is an honest 600 single-ply threads per square inch, spun from fine 80s Egyptian cotton yarn and woven on the same looms as our sheet set. It is the count weavers choose for the best balance of silkiness, strength and breathability.

The Nile Delta's climate grows some of the world's longest cotton fibers. Longer fibers spin into finer, stronger yarn, which is why genuine Egyptian cotton feels smooth instead of fuzzy and lasts for years instead of seasons. We weave every pillowcase at our own mill in Egypt, then ship it straight to your door.

Which size matches my sheet set?
Twin, Twin XL, Full and Queen sheet sets ship with 20 x 30 inch pillowcases, so choose Queen. King and Cal King sets ship with 20 x 40 inch pillowcases, so choose King. Standard (20 x 26 inch) fits a regular standard pillow and is the right pick if you are not matching a set.
Is this the same fabric as the sheet set?
Yes. The pillowcases are cut from the same 600 thread count sateen, woven from 100% long-staple Egyptian cotton at our family mill in the Nile Delta, and dyed to the same nine shades. A pair added to your set will match.
How many pillowcases are in a set?
Two. Each set is a matching pair with envelope closures. Order two sets to dress four pillows.
What is an envelope closure?
An inner flap of fabric folds over the open end of the pillowcase, so the pillow stays tucked inside without a zipper or buttons. It gives the bed a clean, finished look from either side.
Will sateen make me sleep hot?
No. Sateen feels denser than percale, but cotton is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking. Against your face, these sleep noticeably cooler than microfiber or polyester blends.
How do I wash them?
Machine wash cold or warm on gentle with mild detergent, tumble dry low and remove promptly. Skip bleach and fabric softener: softener coats the fibers and reduces softness over time.
