Size and materials
Body Scrubber: a generous oval, about 6 x 4.5 inches (15 x 11.5 cm), 100% natural Egyptian loofah fiber on the front and soft cotton terry on the back, bound in cotton twill with a hanging loop.
Shower Sponge: one whole cone of Luffa aegyptiaca, about 6 inches long, finished with a braided cotton rope. No backing, no filler.
Care
Rinse the sponge thoroughly after every use to clear soap and skin cells from the fiber.
Hang it by the cotton rope to air dry fully between showers. Avoid leaving it in standing water or a closed container.
Once a month, soak it for five minutes in warm water with a splash of white vinegar, rinse well and hang to dry.
Replace the sponge every 2 to 4 weeks of regular use, and compost the retired one. The whole sponge is plant based.

How do I use the shower sponge?
Soak the sponge in warm water for 20 to 30 seconds until the fiber softens, add your body wash or soap bar and massage skin in gentle circles. Rinse it clean and hang it by the rope to dry.
Is it too rough for sensitive skin?
Dry loofah feels firm, but it softens noticeably once soaked. Start with light pressure two or three times a week. Most people find the fiber pleasantly invigorating rather than harsh.
What is the difference between the shower sponge and the body scrubber?
The shower sponge is one whole loofah cone with a rope, all natural fiber, for a deeper scrub. The body scrubber is a flat dual sided pad with a soft cotton terry back for gentler daily cleansing. Many customers keep both in the shower.
How long does one sponge last?
